Visioning for strategic change: futures thinking for executive strategy

For those of us striving to create positive change, compelling visions of a better future can be a powerful tool. Clear and inspiring aspirations help us recognize what is lacking in the present and boost our motivation to pursue something better. However, there are obstacles to embracing radically optimistic futures. Change is often seen as something that requires struggle and sacrifice, rather than joy and creativity. This keynote talk will explore how we can overcome the internal, interpersonal, institutional, and ideological resistance to embracing long-term hopeful visions of the worlds we wish to create.
